Day 1 Travel through the Sonoran Desert on the way to the scenic red rock country of Sedona. Get the afternoon and evening free to enjoy the many unique shops and galleries in Sedona. Your hotel is conveniently located near shopping areas. You may choose from a 2.5 hour local scenic and history tour or backcountry jeep tour. Overnight at Kings Ransom or equivalent.
Day 2 Continue to the Navajo Indian Reservation to visit a local trading post and view the Painted Desert cliffs. Then travel to Grand Canyon National Park for a 3-4 hour visit. You will be escorted along the Canyon Rim drive to experience breathtaking panoramas of this natural wonder. Time is also allowed in the Canyon village area for viewing or taking a leisurely walk. Tour returns to Phoenix late evening.
