I have to say I’ve been on many tours, but this one definitely takes the cake. If I was to give a golden globe this one would get an Emmy. The tour itself was beautiful and pena palace was just breathtaking, along with cascais and of course Sintra town, but the guide was what made it worthwhile. The absolute banter that was had while at the destination and on the journey even was next to nothing. Vitor was educational, helpful and an absolute gem of a human! His humour and knowledge was fantastic. He asked questions that allowed the group to discuss openly and bond as a whole, even with language barriers. We learnt all about different cultures and languages from different corners of the world as the group was mixed and we got on very well with everyone. It’s a 12/10 from me and would 110% recommend to a friend #pógmothóin
Mario was our guide he was fantastic. We had a nice group of travelers. From 20 something to late 70’s . Everyone had a great time. We walked up to the palace together had a room to room tour. Then had alone time to look at stuff we wanted more time with. Then we toured a couple villages. With self tour time. Then we went to the sea. Then back to the pick up location. The total time was eight hours. It was lovely.
The tour was great and our tour guide Vitor made it a lot of fun and kept us engaged all the time. One of my favorite spots during the tour was Sintra's Pena palace. So colorful and authentic. Every room inside had an own story. Vitor told the stories in a fun way which made it easier to follow. One of my favorite stories is the story of the word tea.
Our guide Rodrigo was excellent, he gave us fun and easy to folloW information about Pena palace. I surely recommand this guide to see great places here for a good 8 hours tour.
