In the 1st century, the Romans made the city strong and today the vivid remains of this era can be explored. It was ruled for five centuries by Venice so both the Italian and Croatian languages are spoken in the city. During this period of occupation, walls were built around the city and the remains are standing still today. Rovinj is a real gem and adored because with every step you take you are compelled to take another photograph. Travel another 45 minutes to Porec. The Old Town is almost 2000 years old and is most famous for the Euphrasian Basilica, from 1997. It is on the UNESCO world heritage list and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Istria. Great day trip with nice guides, good food and a varied program. For the price, the trip is highly recommended. For lunch on the Lim Canal there was a choice of grilled fish or meat (chicken and bratwurst) with coleslaw, tomatoes and bread, which tasted delicious. They even provided complimentary wine and water. The stops in Rovinj and Vrasar are definitely worth a visit. Both swimming in the sea and shopping were possible. Unfortunately, drinks on board are a bit expensive (small water €2.50), which is usually the case. We liked it very much, gladly again!

This is the perfect way to explore green Istria. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with our guide. The route was breathtaking. We visited all the places we wanted to see - Groznjan and Motovun, before stopping for a lovely lunch on top of Motovun. The ebikes make this journey so much more enjoyable. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves nature, outdoors and adventure.

For us, the tour ended up being a personal and private tour of Inner Istria with Sini, and what an exceptional and personable guide he is. He is proud of his country, and rightly so. Spectacular. His area and historical knowledge knows no end, a truly wonderful day, capped off with a wonderful lunch in Montovun.

The boat was nice, the crew professional, the trip just the right amount of time and beautiful experience
