However, you are also able to choose a safari in a closed, air-conditioned vehicle. This is a pleasant and comfortable option especially in very hot weather, for older guests and for families travelling with young children.

Your day will begin as you are picked up at Hazyview from where you will head for the Kruger National Park. Throughout your experience, you will have exclusive use of the vehicle for you and your group only. The first session of your safari is roughly 3 hours long, and will involve you seeing and learning about the animals and plant life. Following your first morning safari, you will enjoy a breakfast stop of about 45 minutes. Once your breakfast break is complete, you will continue your safari, exploring the Kruger Park Rivers and mountain areas. You will also of course discover many other animals for a further 3 hours. Following this exploration there will be another break for 1 hour during which you can purchase lunch. Following lunch, you will be taken back to your hotel while enjoy the last sightings of the park along the way.

Enjoy a fun activity for the whole family, suitable for all ages and skill levels. Meet at Perry’s Bridge Trading Post in Hazyview for a short briefing, before being transported to the start of the trail. Follow the zip line trail into the valley basin down sections of cable that vary in length from 70 to 230 meters. Stop along the way at 10 different elevated platforms to admire the stunning views of the forest floor below, keeping a look out for local wildlife. At the end of the trail, return to Perry’s Bridge where you'll find restaurants and shops at your service.

Escape the hot afternoon sun and explore the African wilderness at night. You’ll be picked up from your Hazyview accommodation and taken to Kruger National Park. Here you’ll meet the expert local ranger who will be your eyes and ears during your night time tour. Late afternoon is a great time for game viewing. As evening approaches, nocturnal animals become active, and you will experience the amazing colours of an African sunset. As darkness spreads across the savannah, animals of the night rise from their daytime slumber and the hunt begins. Once the sun has set and night falls, the spotlights are switched on and your ranger guide will begin the hunt for Africa's night-time wildlife. The African bush comes alive as the temperature drops and smaller creatures venture out under the protection of darkness. In the quiet of the night, you can expect a different kind of Kruger safari experience than during the day. As you become accustomed to your dim surroundings, you’ll see smaller, more shy and rare creatures, not usually seen during the day.  No stops are made during your Kruger safari, but you are welcome to bring along a small cooler box with soft drinks if you wish.

Look for the legendary wildlife of South Africa on a thrilling 2-day safari in Kruger National Park. Day 1: Benefit from pickup at O. R. Tambo International Airport or your hotel in Johannesburg, and then travel via a panoramic route to Kruger National Park. Head to your accommodation which is based in Hazyview outside the Kruger National Park to freshen up before your 2 hour evening game drive. Look for majestic lions, leopards, and other big cats out for the hunt. Return to camp to enjoy dinner around the camp fire.
