What people are saying about Hanoi

Overall rating

4.3 / 5

based on 2,863 reviews

The transfer from Hanoi is a bit long but the cruise is worth the detour. A commercial break in the middle of the journey, uncomfortable bus and for small people. Very welcome on the boat, the activities are pleasant and we take magnificent photos. The visit to the cave is a negative point, too crowded because all the boats arrive at the same time. Another activity would be preferable. Interesting meals even if you don't eat everything. Thank you to our guides.

Fun trip and excellent host

The trip was fun and we had a really excellent host. We enjoyed the company of the other guests. When we booked the trip it was our understanding that we would go to the outer Bay (Bai tu long bay) past the crowded areas, however this was not the case, it was extremely crowded, we were just taken to the main bay. The drinks were very expensive and the loud music ruined the serenity of the natural environment.

Overall it gives you an overview of the main attractions in Hanoi. My only criticism is the audio doesn’t match up correctly with the stops which I found confusing

Fantastically beautiful nature, just wrong travel time

Were there on December 31st. Our guide was super nice. However, the weather was very cloudy that day and the rice fields were almost all brown.

It was great to get a quick overview of the city, English audio guide worked well. We recommend the tour!
