This Dubrovnik Sea Kayaking Tour begins with a safety briefing at a stunning Old Town hotspot. Head off with your guide across the channel and on the seas near the cursed Island of Lokrum. You’ll make several on-sea stops at points of interest along the way. Learn about the curse of the island and the history of Dubrovnik, previously known as Ragusa. Stop at one of the only hotels that was not rebuilt after the war. The hotel was the site of hand-to-hand combat between the Serbian and Montenegrin armies and the Dubrovnik defenders during the war. Spend around 30 minutes of free time at the only beach in Dubrovnik that’s not accessible on foot, and rest at its popular cave. You can swim, snorkel, explore, relax, eat, or sunbathe. Later you'll continue back along the coastline of Dubrovnik and see the area’s Beverly Hills and Dubrovnik's first quarantine zone. This tour will give you the opportunity to take in Dubrovnik from the seaside, capture some amazing shots of the outer walls, and hear a bit about the history of this legendary city.

The starting point for this tour will be from Pile Park Beach. Everyone will receive equipment and then your guide will give you a short explanation of the basics of kayaking, paddling, safety and similar issues.  First, go around the city walls passing near the old town port and going all the way to Betina Cave, where you will have a half an hour break for a snack, snorkeling, swimming, and cliff jumping. Afterwards, continue with your tour and paddle around the beautiful Lokrum Island with several stops at caves and various bays. You will also get to explore the Dubrovnik city walls from the water.

Here, you will be dropped off for a fantastic shore swimming experience. Explore the warm waters of the stunning lagoon before climbing back aboard your boat. Next stop is Kolocep Island, where you’ll swim through the natural wonder of the Three Green Caves. Before heading back to shore, stop off at the famous Blue Cave and feel like you’re entering a forgotten paradise as you swim through its crystal clear waters.

Start the day early as your hosts greet you at the Marina Frapa Dubrovnik and take you on a seafaring adventure. Soak up the sun as you ride towards Mljet island and the first stop of the day, the Odysseus Cave. Dive into the pristine blue water uninterrupted by the city crowds. The next stop is at the charming little island Šipan, one of the Elaphiti Islands, small by size but very rich in history. Following Šipan, you will visit the most famous sandy beach in the Dubrovnik area, Sunj, where you can swim, snorkel, relax, and even have lunch in a restaurant by the sea. The journey continues after about two hours when the crew will take you to the Blue Cave of Kolocep Island to take one more dip in the crystal clear blue waters. On the way back to the city, take in the most beautiful panorama of the city walls during sunset.

Embark on a kayaking adventure on the Adriatic Sea and soak up the views of Lokrum Island and Betina Cave. Take a swim and snorkel break in Betina Cave and watch the sunset over the Elaphiti Islands. Begin at the small port of Pile in the Old Town. After a short instructional session, paddle beneath the city walls until you reach the hidden cave beach known as Betina, where you will take a short 20-to-30-minute swimming and snorkeling break. From there, paddle around Lokrum Island and explore its caves. Upon your return, witness the sunset in the direction of the Elaphiti Islands. Upon arrival at Pile Bay, be greeted with a small bottle of wine and a snack.

From the main port of Gruž, it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the Elaphiti Archipelago, so this half-day tour is great for those looking for a bit of adventure close to town. Of the three main islands, you can easily visit one or two in half a day. During the hot summer months, the Blue Cave on Koločep and the famous Šunj Beach of Lopud are ideal if you like swimming and snorkelling. Your skipper will know all of the best spots for cliff jumping on the islands too if you're an adrenaline seeker. If you want to visit some of the islands’ historical villages instead, you might consider the old Monastery and Rector’s Palace on Šipan. Since this is a private tour, you get to decide on your own itinerary and you are free to change it throughout the day. Your skipper can advise you about the area and help you make the most of your time. Some of our guests start out their planning to visit all three islands, end up falling in love with the first one, and stay there all afternoon. Other groups move along more quickly and have time to visit something extra before heading back to Dubrovnik. It’s 100% flexible, and it’s 100% up to you.
