Had a great experience with Claudia and Barbara exploring beaches in Chia. They took me to the most beautiful beaches that were not crowded at all and I had a great time. There were also some nice little kiosks at the beaches where I had lunch. I can only recommend this trip!
6. Sardinia Cooking Class: Fresh Handmade Pasta
Visit Sardinia's capital city, Sinna, a small town located near Cagliari where you can still see the typical Campidanese-style houses in its historical center. In one of these houses, under the supervision of the skilful hands of a local woman, your host, you will learn how to make different types of local and national traditional pasta. Each pasta you make will be characterized with different colors and flavors: malloreddus (Sardinian gnocchi), culugiones (a special kind of ravioli) as well as ordinary ravioli and tagliatelle. Later, cook pasta with your host and eat together, accompanying your meal with a lovely local wine.
I highly recommend you book this experience, it is amazing! Isabella and Valerio are very kind and funny people. They picked us up and drove us to a beautiful house were we took the pasta making class. Every step was explained very well and they were very supportive and encouraging in their teaching methods, which was great because I am a far from natural cook :-) After the class we enjoyed some delicious snacks, drinks and our self-made pasta in their lovely garden.

How to Get Around Cagliari?

We recommend a small car as streets are narrow. Some may even want to bike around the city, but beware that traffic can be intense and there are not always bike lanes.

We really enjoyed the tour. We were taking nice keep ride in a National park in the mountains and observed the surroundings, and our guide told us a lot of new and interesting information about local history and surroundings and Sardinia. We also seen stunning views from one of the highest mountains in the area and enjoyed Picknick with local homemade food. Definitely to recommend.
