Taking off from the port of Tropea with the glass-bottom boat 'Capitan Paolo', you will see the town and the beautiful beaches “Rotonda” and “Marina dell’ Isola” from its coast line. Take a peek at the unique views into the “Palombaro” Cave that can only be seen from the water. During the boat ride you receive historic and relevant information about the scenery and are able to take pictures from the stunning views at all times. Next you will have reached the Grotticelle Bay close to Capo Vaticano. Boarding from the port of Tropea and after about two hours of navigation, docking in San Vincenzo, a typical village with its characteristic white houses and Aeolian architecture. In the immediate vicinity of the landing there are the suggestive black beaches, where it is possible to swim. Free time allows you to have an aperitif or to dine in a room with a sea view, to stroll through the narrow streets of the picturesque town, to go and visit the church of San Vincenzo or the Operational Center of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology on the Seafront or to observe the traditional fishermen. A few hundred meters south of Lipari is the suggestive island of Vulcano, the last stop on our tour. According to Greek mythology, the forges of Hephaestus, the Greek god of fire, were located here. The reason is obvious: fumaroles and jets of steam can be observed at the top of the active Fossa volcano and under the sea water. Vulcano creates a particular, almost ancestral relationship between the island and the visitor.
