After meeting your guide, head to the launch point, where you will see the 9-story-tall hot air balloon for the first time. Climb inside a woven basket as the enormous fabric above you swells with air. Listen to the dramatic sounds of the burner as the inflation process continues, gradually lifting you off the ground and taking you to the heavens above. Feel the thrill of drifting 5,000 feet (1,524 m) over the mountains as you raise your glass of champagne in a celebratory toast while ascending high over Colorado Springs. Your knowledgeable and FAA-certified pilot will identify some of the mountains in view as the sun rises higher in the sky, painting the world before you with rich golden hues. Explore the majestic La Plata Mountains and Canyon near Durango, CO at some of the canyon’s most scenic and beautiful waterfalls. This is a mild scenic tour fun for the entire family who does not want to do the full four hour tour. Stop at 3 unique waterfalls for plenty of photo opportunities, as we climb higher into the canyon. The last waterfall stop is on private property accessible only to your tour operator. This stop gets you up close to a stunning 25-30ft waterfall with some old mining structures scattered around the base. The tour will reach around 10,000 feet above sea level and stop to take in the views. This is a great adventure for the entire family. All ages are welcome on this trip however car seats are not provided. NOTE: This tour does not go up to the top of Kennebec Pass and is a mild tour. You will board into an “Open-Air” vehicle (however we reserve the right to take a Jeep Wrangler if needed due to circumstances beyond our control). We will drive on the highway for approximately 20-25 minutes to the mouth of the canyon and from there we will start our tour into the canyon. It can get windy so if you get cold easily please bring a jacket or ask for one, we carry extra jackets and blankets but you may need to ask.

Zipline over the foothills of historic Manitou Springs at the foot of Pikes Peak. Perched high above Manitou Springs over Gregory Gulch, you will indulge in excitement and spectacular vistas while soaring over this beautiful alpine canyon.  The natural-terrain course features five ziplines, varying in length from 225 feet to over 600 feet and provides the best rush of adrenaline on the Front Range of the Rockies.The ziplines are fully licensed, insured, and inspected. The course is a rustic cliff to cliff style, with no towers to climb, and also includes a couple of short nature hikes between lines. Be sure to dress in layers with closed-toe shoes. The drive up this historic highway is one you won't forget. You'll make several stops above and below the tree line to really soak in all the views that makes the experience so unique.
