Start your tour in Trastevere, once home to wealthy Etruscans. Visit some of Rome’s most important churches, including Santa Cecilia, the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere, and San Francesco a Ripa. Continue to the Jewish ghetto to learn about the Jewish history of Rome. See the former walled quarter, walk past Jewish-owned businesses, visit kosher restaurants, and listen to stories about the Synagogue of Rome.

See the Porticus Octavia, one of the most recognized landmarks in the ghetto, which stands right in the middle of Piazza Mattei, and also visit the Ponte Rotto, the oldest stone bridge in all of Rome.
