I had heard that it was exhilarating (the walkway has been replaced with something much safer!) and was slightly disappointed that it wasn't but the scenery was beautiful and our guide did a great job. I'm glad at least there was a suspension bridge at the end!

A stunning and exhilarating walk through a truly majestic place. Impossible to capture the scale and grandeur of the walk in a photograph. Reasonable level of everyday walking fitness required but no more than that. Although it is perfectly safe, the walkway does go up to 100 metres above the river. That meant that some in our party were certainly out of their comfort zone (me included) but you are never placed at any risk. The drive up into the mountains to get there is also lovely, and there are nice places to eat or have a drink once you get there. The timing of the walk seems to vary depending on the guide. Ours took a leisurely four hours. There is then a shuttle bus to take you back to your starting point via a scenic journey of about 30 minutes.

What a hike! At first, I was a little sour because our guide was doing our hike in both English and Spanish, but our guide more than made up for it by making sure to answer all of our questions and took time to chat with us individually. Keep up the good work!
