This is a must do activity in Cappadocia with Discovery Balloons!!! We were pleasantly surprised with the entire tour - pickup was on time, the balloon experience, their pilot, pilot assistance-Furkan, and the entire team. Furkan spoke very good English and made the whole flight a fun experience. So friendly, explaining everything, answering all our questions. Making sure we are able to take beautiful pics. Their pilot - Alper was excellent - such skillful maneuvering of the balloon and landing. We had elderly parents traveling with us who have slight mobility issues. The team helped us getting them in and out of the ballon basket with such ease. It made it possible for us to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in the air. If I ever come back to Cappadocia, I will blindly book with this company again.

I’ll start by saying that it was an amazing experience and I am overjoyed by the experience. The pilot was amazing, she was knowledgeable, landed very easy, and the entire ride was smooth. My only complaint is the price. We paid nearly $300 per ticket, when there are other balloon companies with just as good of reviews that offer rides for only $180-$200. Even when I got to my hotel, they were offering rides the following morning for $160. So it didn’t seem worth it to pay close to $300. But good experience overall.

Balloontour – a magnificent adventure After my balloontours in Myanmar / Bagan and drive over the Serengeti few years ago this was my third balloon tour. And please believe me, this tour was the very best of all. Cappadocia Discovery Balloon is a 100% professional working company. I recommend them. Pick up times for the transfers are working proper on time. Our tour starts before sunrise near Red Valley. Continued via direction Göreme and Uchisar. Landing point after one hour was in the near of Love Valley. The landing through the female pilot Basak Kur was brilliant; directly on the trailer of the transportcar – precision landing! The tour operates in different altitudes. At Red Valley my impression was to touch the rocks by my own hands. That makes the tour once-in-a-lifetime. At the end, during the celebrate champagne, the company offers an USB-Stick with 360-degrees photos and videos. I recommend it, too.
