Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable! We had a wonderful time on the carriage ride and I learned a lot that I did not know about the Civil War. I especially like the way he explained small details about how the battle was fight and how it was one. And what some of the effects were on the soldiers, the towns people, and the government at the time. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone! Make sure you get Truman as your guide also! Lastly the carriage itself was very comfortable, the employees were very friendly, and the tour was most enjoyable.

We have been to Gettysburg 12 times (in 25 yrs). We have done the Battlefield Tours via car, bus, double decker bus, small group w guide. The Battlefield Carriage Ride was the best! The Drivers, the horse, & our very knowledgeable Guide were awesome! We loved every minute! Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful time. The gals that were in charge of the horses, truly love those big beautiful animals. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the battles that took place in Gettysburg, you could almost envision what was going on during those three days. I highly recommend doing this tour if you find yourself in Gettysburg.
