Begin at Altstadtmarkt and stroll along the picturesque Echternstraße with half-timbered houses. Next, walk along the medieval defensive city walls and learn about the history of witch-hunting. Along the way, you will discover the history of the city’s oldest red-light district where the hangman lived, who watched over the sex-workers of Echternstraße. Stop outside the beguinage in the Magniviertel at the end of the tour and take some pictures.
