What fun! We were greeted at our hotel by a punctual, friendly guide named Javier. We told jokes and laughed along the drive to the peir. The Bonanza is a wonderful way to see the many beautiful sites of Acapulco. The crew would alternate from narration in English & Spanish for about ten minutes, then twenty minutes of live music. The waters were calm and there was plenty of dancing. My only complaint would be the lack of cerveza choice. There is only one choice and it isn’t great. But there are other options, so it wouldn’t justify a bad review. After the cruise, Javier welcomed us at the pier with a warm smile and a wave. He even turned up the music for us in his van as the women in my group requested. I highly recommend this tour!
Beautiful views, open bar, 3 levels of different entertainment! Not a party booze cruise though, just locals and mostly Mexican tourist having a fun, it was perfect. Don’t expect staff at the kiosk or on the boat to explain things to you in English, enjoy the chance to practice your Spanish - though you will still have a blast even without understanding exactly what’s going on! Book at least a day in advance. I booked the same afternoon, and only just got on the boat 5 mins before departure as the office at the ward had not received (or checked with GYG) the tickets, I brought the print out of my voucher but The lady in the kiosk looked like she’d never seen one before. Still, I caught the boat just on time!
We had a great time. The views were great and the tour guide spoke English and Spanish.
