Full description
Spend your vacation doing something unique and unforgettable on an excursion that takes you out into the waters, and swim alongside wild dolphins. On this 3.5-hour tour, you are guaranteed to see dolphins, which are one of the Earth’s most fascinating and curious creatures. Meet at the Holdfast Shores Marina in Glenelg, a mere 15 minutes outside of Adelaide. From there, board the 'Temptation', a 58-foot colossal sailing catamaran. As the boat cruises, experience the beauty of Australia's southern coastline. Eventually, come to rest in the waters where the wild dolphins will come to greet you and play in the waters. Don your wetsuit, mask, and snorkel, and take the plunge into the waters. Experience the breathtaking moment when you see dolphins underwater for the first time. Watch and listen; their grace and playfulness is stunning and the sounds of their whistles and echo location noises are mesmerizing. Once your adventure comes to an end, you will be taken back to the marina. Spend some time checking out the many restaurants and shops that grace the shoreline.

So fabulous. Two species of dolphin interacting. Lots of different pods that wanted to come and interact with the boat and the swimmers. It can take a little while to find the Dolphins but don’t be down hearted it’s worth the wait. We found them after just under an hour and then had the rest of the time to swim with them. Just amazing. My nine year old struggled with the rope at the back of the boat but the net under the front of the boat was an amazing way for even an non confident swimmer to play and interact with these wonderful creatures. I would go again and again!

we were lucky enough to see dolphins. Unfortunately, swimming really freely was not possible, as you always had a little bit of speed and had to hold on to the rope. Sometimes one was hardly outside and had to go straight out, sometimes it was not clear why, as the dolphins were also behind the boat. Nevertheless, it was very nice and a great experience, which we don't want to do without.

Great team and wonderful experience. What would have been helpful for me to know beforehand is that it is not a "classic" swim - two ropes are thrown out from behind the catamaran and you hold on to it all the time and rather float rather than swim. The dolphins swim around you - you don't move that much yourself. However, that was not a disadvantage (at least not for me) because the dolphins can decide for themselves how close they come and there is also less risk that they will touch someone (which would not be great because dolphins cannot tolerate the human bacteria). With most dolphin swimming tours you are more "free", so the tip here. But as I said - that was not negative! The dolphins came very close and you could see them wonderfully. And once again, great praise to the team, which took great care of everyone. Everything is wonderful!
