Phenomenal, a climb to the Stromboli volcano at sunset to enjoy the magnificent views and, above all, at nightfall, the impressive eruptions of the volcano. And above all accompanied and guided by such a wonderful guide that touched us (greetings, Carmelo!) who did his best to explain many things about the volcano, the island, its history and how it works, also speaking perfectly in English, French and even a bit of Russian ;) It made the climb more pleasant, more interesting and safer. Warning for travelers: bring plenty of water, which you will need, and comfortable walking shoes. The climb is not too demanding, I have made it more complicated, but it does have its own thing.

Very nice but also extremely strenuous hike to the 400 m high vantage point at the beginning of August. If you are not fit enough, no problem, there is a second, very good vantage point at 290 m altitude, which you can easily reach. This does not affect the view of the Stromboli. The guides take the fitness of the participants into account and explain the geology of the volcanoes at different points.

Great experience with great guides, we ate at the top of the volcano and we could see several lava outpourings it was really great. Contrary to what we had read the climb was very pleasant and not as complicated as we thought anyone can go. I highly recommend an experience not to be missed if you are visiting Stromboli.

The tour was an amazing experience. The guides were very friendly and very knowledgeable about the island and volcano. Got to see the volcano activity which was unreal.

We were extremely lucky, because the vulcano is very active in these days. The standard trail is demaged and to have a guide is recommended.
