This trip was excellent. We were picked up at our hotel at 8.00 (a bit later than they’d suggested - the change was not a problem) in a very comfortable MPV. Our driver, Fouad, was excellent; he seemed to know his way around both cities, and coped amazingly well with the random and chaotic waltz of driving in Agadir and Marrakesh. The tour itself, with our personal guide Abdul, gave us just the right balance of culture and sightseeing. He guided us through the maze of the souk and was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. The only downside was the 3-course Moroccan lunch; the food was very uninteresting and not plentiful (plain chopped tomatoes and lettuce for starters, meagre chicken for mains and sliced oranges for dessert) - quite disappointing. However don’t let that put you off (and hopefully the lunch will improve with feedback). We had a lovely day in Marrakesh with an excellent guide and amazingly good driver.

Starting from the Ranch de Diabat, your guide will take you on a route that first runs along the river. Stop to see the ruins of the Black Sultan’s palace before riding along a sandy beach. Admire the views of the Portuguese castle on the island of Mogador. Riders of intermediate or advanced ability will have the option of a longer tour, heading a bit inland. After a picnic lunch at noon, you’ll ride along the sand dunes, past fishermen’s cottages, and to a fresh water spring. The tour continues through a forest and then returns to the ranch. The pace of the tour will be adapted according to your preference and ability.

The horses at the stables are all stallions but were well behaved and my small berber x arab horse was lovely. Well kept stables, choice of hats, good guide and lovely scenery to ride around Essaouira. Would recommend and go again. Staff emailed about my pick up quickly and were very helpful and flexible.

A magical experience! A warm and generous welcome. A friendly atmosphere and a very professional and efficient team. A confident and upscale journey from the reception to the hotel via the Berber aunt, the flight and the return. Beautiful encounters and a note of history By our funny and inexhaustible driver of anecdotes and history on Morocco and its landscapes, a very good flight captain, an efficient ground team, a square booker. We recommend this activity and this operator. Thank you
