  • Agadir: Agadir Crocodile Park Adventure

    3. Agadir: Agadir Crocodile Park Adventure

Following collection from your Agadir accommodation, make your way to the park for the day. A huge crocodile head marks the main entrance of this park, which was an innovative concept and a unique project in Agadir. The farm contains more than 300 Nile crocodiles, and the park's architecture and design provide guests the feeling of being in a forest, offering plenty of unique trees and plant varieties. Present in Morocco until the 1970s, crocodiles have gradually disappeared due to factors such as hunting and drought. The resident species of the park can grow up to 7 meters long, and can weigh up to a ton. As part of a strategy to safeguard the species, the park facilitates access to knowledge about reptiles through educational panels and the presence of multilingual guides.

What people are saying about Agadir

The tour was very worth it. There were many points that were worth taking photos. Ali the guide (a language talent) explains and explains a lot. This gives you an interesting background knowledge. However, there were also 2 negative points. The journey took just under 13 hours instead of 9 hours, due to the poor time overview of the really very polite and friendly guide. Furthermore, we had to sit on the folded down seats of a van in the vehicle, which was very uncomfortable for a long time.

Unforgettable! Very good guide, magnificent scenery, lots of information and great opportunities to take photos.
