Paradise Valley & Atlas Montagne: Swimming Adventure
- Pickup available
- Duration: 5 hours
Start from your hotel in Agadir or from the Agadir Cruise Port. Pickup is at 8h30, driving towards the Immouzer & Paradise Valley road (Honey road), north of Agadir (Agadir to Paradise Valley), an evergreen locale with ever-flowing water. See the tiny streams, mountain gorges, and flowing waterfalls in the picturesque villages. After arriving in Paradise Valley, hike for 20 minutes before settling down for a beautiful time at the natural pools, perfect for swimming and chilling. After the refreshment break, return to Agadir at approximately 13:30.
The tour starts with hotel pickup and departs Agadir at around 8am in the morning, then enjoy a 30-minute scenic drive to Souss Massa National Park. The park was founded in 1991, across a surface of 33,800 hectares, with the aim to restore the Saharan Fauna in the South of Morocco. Upon arrival, visit the park’s onsite museum and learn about the many endangered species that live here, including the Scimitar-Horned Oryx, Addax, Dama Gazelle, Ostrich, Dorcas Gazelle, and Bald Ibis. The park is home to 250 species of birds, 30 mammals, and 35 amphibians and reptiles, so keep your eyes peeled as you explore the area with your guide.
Enjoy a full day exploring Morocco's Souss-Massa National Park on a guided birdwatching tour with lunch. See the park's incredible and diverse landscape, including grassland steppes, sand dunes, sandy beaches, and wetlands. Meet your guide at 9 AM in the reception of your hotel from where you'll head straight to the park. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a national park expert who will accompany you throughout your walking tour. Discover the wild and spectacular cliffs, farmland, coastal steppes, and forests that the park has to offer, all while keeping an eye out for the range of migrant and resident birds. The southern section of the park seems to be the preferred habitat of the endemic northern bald ibis. The varied flora of the park is the perfect spot to see a number of interesting birds, as well as other popular animals, such as the African wild cat, red fox, hedgehog, leopa...
