What people are saying about Aguas Calientes

We booked with Haku travel but was transferred to a trek with Marvelous adventure, so we can t say anything about Haku travels' tours, only the booking part. We got booked on the cheapest Machu Picchu circuit and not the same circuit or entrance time as the rest of our Group and guide through 4 days, so that was a big disappointment. We only got our tickets the night before our Machu Picchu day. Also the communication was not great in advance, but they answered pretty quickly. All in all we had a good trek but that was thanks to our great guide from Marvelous adventure. We recommended booking at an Office in Cusco rather than online if you want the better and cheaper deal and to be certain about the specifics of your trek. Be sure to request the circuit and entrance time you wish for!!

This was an amazing experience! Our guide, Carlos, was excellent and looked after us from start to finish. He took us to other spots throughout the trek and took the time to chat through the history and general knowledge of the different areas. The Accomodation and food was great throughout also. We trekked a special route for Haku Travel and it was beautiful and made the 2nd day. The trekking is that good it’s easy to forget about the activities but they were also excellent. 10/10 and I would definitely recommend. Our group was small also so it felt like we got a much more personal experience than what we would’ve got with another tour provider.

Haku travel was helpful when I finally got a hold of them. I was added to a group with another tour operator Anacondortours, Roberto was the best guide. Felt like a friend afterwards.

The tour was perfectly organized. Our tour guide Paul give us so much interesting information. An amazing experience!

It was an amazing hike through the Andes. Going solo with a guide made the experience rich.
