What people are saying about Aguas Calientes

Marcelino was a great guide. He meet us at the machu picchu bus stop and helped us get our bus tickets then took us to machu picchu where he took his time to explain the history of the entire site. He answered all of our questions and took more time with us than allotted. He was very amicable and knowledgeable in addition to being our own private photographer. He was more than willing to take many pictures and recommend the best sites for pictures. He also gave us recommendations for food and information on Inti Raymi which was happening later that week. 100% recommend Marcelino. We had other tour guides for other sites that didn't even compare. And his English is perfect!

Great Experience and Great Tour with Augustin. This was the afternoon tour. I was picked up from the hotel and guided to the bus station. This was fast and efficient. Augustin was already waiting for me. Once we reached Machu Picchu, he chose the best spots to void the crowds. Augustin is very knowledgeable, he knows a lot abut the place, history, customs and he chooses the best spots and he is also a wonderful photographer. I was very lucky to have Augustin with me. if you go to Machu Picchu , private guided tour is the best thing to do. I saw some people choosing wrong routes (they are different for the am and pm tour). Augustin made my day. Thank you!

Our guide Watner was fantastic polite, and really enhance the whole experience for us. He had lots of interesting stories and lessons to share along the way, too.

Contrary to the old you tube guide. You do not really have to be so early in line as it is organize by time of your Machu Picchu entrance time.

Simple bus tickets, communication with the agency was very efficient
