Full description

After pickup from your accommodation, head to the marina in Airlie Beach by bus. Board the custom-built catamaran and enjoy fresh, homemade, gluten-free brownies as a morning snack.

The first stop is at one of the area's many beautiful reefs to go snorkeling. Be blown away by the vivid colors, bountiful fish, and coral formations of the Great Barrier Reef's outer fringes. This spot offers a quieter way to experience the UNESCO-protected reef.

Then, head to the second snorkeling spot on the northern tip of Hook Island. With your guide, discover the area's underwater valleys, caves, and a variety of marine life.

Continue to Whitehaven Beach for a buffet lunch of zucchini frittatas and quiche lorraine served with cold sliced meats, cheeses, salad, and fresh bread.

After lunch, join a guided bush walk and history talk to Hill Inlet Lookout, located at the northern end of the beach. Admire the world-famous spot where white sands and turquoise waters blend in a unique swirling effect.

Enjoy some free time to relax on the beach and soak up the scenery. An afternoon snack of fresh fruit will be provided before the scenic journey back to Airlie Beach by boat. Be dropped back at your accommodation at approximately 5:00 PM.

The tour was absolutely amazing. We were a little bit afraid of snorkeling, but our guide (we were in the green group) just knew how to make us feel safe. From the moment the tour began we enjoyed every minute of it. We also loved the humor of our guide. The organization was great and finally we have to say that we would love yo do the tour again, cas we had so much fun :)

Nice experience, one of the best excursions to do in Airlie, but i think is quite overpriced for what if offers. First snorkelling was quite bad, nothing to see, high tide, water too dusty, was like a river. Second was pretty cool with so many fishes. Views from the look out its a total must, but again we enjoyed with high tide so not that spectacular as per the pictures. Then we were some time in north Whithaven, not the big whithave south beach, what i was really interested. But indeed was beautiful. Staff was super friendly and giving nice tips. Food was below average, for the money the trip costs we could have had much better food, was like a poor buffet. But anyway more than recommended, as to go to the lookout you cannot go from the South whitehaven beach.

The experience was very good. The hill top view is great and worth the little walk and the snorkelling is good also, especially at the fish bowl. You see lots of fish which is great. Lunch was good and Jade and Reese were very friendly too. Definitely recommend. My only bad thing was that we waited around about an hour in the morning which was a little frustrating.
