Upon arrival at the edge of Erg Chebbi dunes, meet your camel caravan, and ride your camels through the amazing color-changing dunes with the sunset on the horizon as a backdrop. Reach your Sahara Desert camp, nestled in the middle of nowhere just before darkness. After some time to admire the dunes and the surrounding landscapes, get ready for a Moroccan dinner served under the stars next to a campfire. Departing early in the morning from your accommodation in Marrakech, you will drive towards Ouarzazate through the High Atlas before reaching the Tizi N'Tichka pass. Sitting 2,260 meters high, this is the highest road crossing in Morocco. It connects the Marrakech Saharan regions, of which Ouarzazate is the crossroad. You will then stop for a visit to the famous fortified city of Ait Ben Haddou. This city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its Kasbah has been the backdrop for many films including the Diamond of the Nile, Lawrence of Arabia, Sodom and Gomorre, the Jewel of the Nile, Jesus of Nazareth, the Mummy, Gladiator and Babel. After this visit of the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, you will continue to the city of Ouarzazate to explore another Kasbah built in the 17th century. Here you will visit the cinema studios, before stopping for lunch in a local restaurant. Following lunch, you can enjoy free time to enjoy a mint tea and enjoy the green valley and beautiful views of the High Atlas peaks. In this area, between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert, one can find several Kasbahs, all the color of the sand and forming small Berber villages that take advantage of the abundance of water from the Atlas to its small crops and animals. At the end of the day, you will be returned to your accommodation in Marrakech.

Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Dades. Day 2: Todra Gorges - Tinjdad - Erfoud - Dunes of Merzouga After breakfast, departure for the Sahara desert Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Passage through the many Berber villages scattered along the road, Jewish kasbah mellah, walk in the oasis in the shade of palm trees, tinghir canyon (Todgha Gorge) with a local guide. Continuation to Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud. Erg chebbi. After relaxing in Merzouga, pack a small overnight bag for your camel trek through the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Arrive at a traditional Berber camp, leave the camels and trek to the highest dunes to watch the sunset. Spend the night in nomadic Berber tents under the stars, listening to the music of the drums in the middle of the Sahara. Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani- Alnif - Tizi N'Tfrkhin -Tinghir-Dades We will start the third day of our tour by watching the sunrise over the desert. After an early start, we will get back on our camels (depending on the type of camp, it is possible to take a shower and have breakfast before the camel trek). On the way back to Ouarzazate, we will take a different route. Passing through the palm grove of Tafilalet and the village of Rissani, former capital and place of residence of the founder of the Alaouite dynasty, we will reach the town of Alnif. Here we will join the road that crosses the amazing Anti-Atlas mountain range. After admiring the spectacular colors and shapes of the mountains, we will arrive at Tizi N'tfarkhin, Tinghir and an amazing palm grove. At lunch time, we will stop in Tinghir to eat and rest before continuing the road to the Dades Valley, visiting the Dades Gorges, In the afternoon, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains towards Khmis Dadès, where we will spend the night in a riad or a kasbah. Day 4: Dades -Skoura-Ouarzazate - Marrakech After a delicious breakfast, you will have time to explore Ouarzazate at your own pace. We recommend that you visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Film Studios, known as the Hollywood of the desert. We will drop you off in Marrakech in the early afternoon.

Kasbah Day trip to Ait Ben Haddou from Marrakech:At 8:00, the driver will pick you up from your riad and transport you across the famed Tizi-n-Tichka pass and the High Atlas highlands. At 2260 m, it is the highest point in all of Africa.The Berber settlements perched on the sides of the mountains are visible all the way down the path. Since they are the same colour as the surrounding dirt, it can often be difficult to see them. You occasionally descend into valleys and go alongside a river that is surrounded by oleander and fruit trees. Olive, walnut, pomegranate, apple, pear, and quince trees abound throughout the gardens. Here, Berber women and kids tend to their flocks of goats and sheep while also scaling extremely steep slopes in search of animal feed and firewood.On the other side of the mountains, however, the scenery drastically alters and resembles a semi-arid desert. You can see the Kasbah architecture with its corner towers here. These structures have gentle peach-colored walls and grilled windows. These ancient homes are constructed of adobe, which is ideal for the southern climate.You turn off the main road and take a minor road to the Telouet Kasbah after crossing the Tichka pass. It functioned as the Glaoui tribe's administrative centre and opulent home. The salt mines around the town contributed to some of their prosperity. The Kasbah's additions are all now in ruins, exposed to the wind and weather. After the last Pasha's property was seized since he had planned Mohammed V's exile, they were abandoned and looted. Wait until you get to the far end of the Kasbah to be impressed with the authentic interior decor.The road then turns south and descends the Ounila Valley, passing lush fields and gardens that run parallel to it below.
