Learn about the rich history of Lisbon on a guided half-day tour by bus. Visit Belém Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and icon of the Age of Discovery, as well as the Monument to the Discoveries. Next, you'll be awed by the masterful Manueline architecture of Jerónimos Monastery, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the extravagant Ajuda National Palace, one of the earliest neoclassical buildings in Lisbon, fronted by 23 marble statues (replaced by Coach Museum when closed) Continue along the river to the traditional district of Alfama. Passing by downtown Baixa, you can admire the most important squares of Lisbon: Trade, Rossio, and Restauradores. Then drive along the Avenida da Liberdade, the 'boulevard' of Lisbon, to finish at Pombal Square.
