The day begins with pickup from your accommodation in San Jose, Heredia, or Alajuela at 6:00 AM. At around 7:15 AM, stop for a traditional Costa Rican breakfast to set you up for the day's adventure. Enjoy a 2-hour guided walk through Ecocentro Danaus Reserve with a naturalist tour guide who will help you spot the local wildlife as well as tell you more about the Costa Rican ecosystem. The ecological reserve additionally has another path of about 350 meters of natural regeneration that culminates in a tree nursery. We will be surrounded by the plants and animals that never touch the ground, see life from a different perspective. The 3.1 km (2 mi.) circuit trail includes 16 impressive bridges, 6 hanging and 10 stationary bridges, an amazing trail network in the canopy.
