Learn about the equipment and application. Then, practice with a range of techniques to learn which suits you more.  Begin with a theoretical introduction, to explain he basics of the sport. Learn the safety drills, and practice getting acquainted by submerging in a pool. Then finally, dip in the sea to a maximum depth of 12 feet, under the guidance of professionals.  Receive a certificate that allows you to dive within a year skipping the theory and pool sessions. Meet at the local partner's kiosk, located near the car park at Galé Beach. You'll be provided with a wetsuit and surfboard and, after that, it's time time to get started. The lesson starts with a short warm-up and safety briefing right before you get in the water. The first part of the lesson consists of learning how to get to the waves. After practising that for a while, you'll get out of the water and learn how to stand up on your board while catching the waves. You'll work on that for the rest of the lesson as well, with the instructors by your side helping you and giving you direct feedback while you're in the water.

Start with pickup from your hotel or resort and travel by a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle through the Algarve countryside.
