Visit the Catacombs of Kom El-Shokafa, an underground necropolis, built by the Greeks and the Romans in Alexandria during the last century BC and the 1st century AD. The necropolis is of three levels all are found under the ground, and some of the sarcophaguses are decorated. The bibliotheque of Alexandria has the biggest reading library hall found in Egypt of seven levels plus four conference halls, planetarium, and seven modern art galleries.
