The arrangement for the meeting point, with the Gide worked very well. We were informed in detail about the history and in the here and now. The small culinary stops rounded off the whole thing. We enjoyed the tour of the district. We can recommend this highlight at any time.

Very good and worthwhile tour

I did this tour with my entire family (10 people: parents, siblings, cousins, uncle + aunt, and also partner). We were between 30 and 60 years old. Despite the great age difference, everyone was enthusiastic about the tour and stories. Even the tour through the Red Light District did not deter the "elders" among us and they found it interesting. The food, which was offered in between, was very delicious and partly different than what we are used to. Jan is a very sympathetic and open guide. He was able to answer almost all our questions - and it was not just a few. He took his time for us and responded to our requests and did not just go through his program. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is in Amsterdam for the first time.

The time flew by and when I am back in Amsterdam I book a new tour with the guide Jan. He said that there is still so much to tell and experience, the booked tour is a short insight into the Red Light District. So I'm curious where the next Red Light Tour leads me.
