I booked the trip with a friend. The historic boat is beautifully preserved, well-kept and more suitable for smaller groups. The length of the journey of 1.5 hours was just right for us. Adequate quality coffee and tea are available free of charge. Other drinks such as wine are available at an additional cost. There is also a toilet on board. Our likeable captain told entertaining and informative details about the locations we headed to. Questions were also possible and welcome at any time. We can highly recommend the trip for those who want a more personal experience, a bit away from Amsterdam's mass tourism. For us it was a successful excursion with relaxed sightseeing.

This tour is our “go to” introduction to Amsterdam for all our visitors. We love the style of the classic boats, the view from the water, the access to the smaller canals, and our favorite guide, Jan! His enthusiasm, humor, knowledge and love for Amsterdam is consistently enjoyed by all!

A wonderful way to get to know the city. The captain (Sjoed) was also the guide and told historical backgrounds and insider information with a lot of humor. The tour led over canals and Amstel to the harbor and back over other canals, so that you could see a lot of the city. I can only recommend the tour at Sjoed to everyone.
