Discover a picture perfect landscape on the outskirts of Amsterdam on a half-day bike tour of the Dutch countryside. Depart from the city center, close to Central Station, and transfer to the Waterland District, just 15 minutes north of central Amsterdam. Riding new and comfortable bikes, admire a pancake flat scenery of gentle brooks, wooden houses and iconic windmills. Led by an experienced guide, you will pass through picturesque villages and towns, pedaling alongside the banks of the dikes and waterways that gave the Waterland District its name. Reclaimed from the sea by the entrepreneurial Dutch, the land is as full of history as it is of water.

Great experience to get outside of the city center and see how others live in the rural areas of Amsterdam. Guided tour gives you the peace of mind to just relax and take in the sites of rural areas and smaller towns . Overall I had a great experience and recommend this countryside tour for all .

Lovely to get out & see the countryside

Maybe we should have been reminded that we could climb the tower at Holysloot. Enjoyed a slow lunch & forgot the time ran out! A few more brief photo stops would be nice too, but it was great. Bit worried we would be too old to keep up, but it was fine thanks Arthur.

A lovely relaxing and picturesque bike trip that is relaxing and fun.

A great way to see the beautiful countryside right on Amsterdam's doorstep. One minute you are in the hustle & bustle of the city, 10 minutes later, you are cycling in the peaceful and pretty countryside. Our guide Ryion was helpful and informative and the ride is suitable for all ages and abilities. My son & I had a wonderful time and it was a lovely way not only to see the sights but to keep cool on a very hot day too.
