It was an amazing tour, so rich in history. I think we got the best guide in Athens, she was so knowledgeable and lovely person.
Visit the cradle of democracy and explore one of the most important sites of the antiquity, the birthplace of philosophy. The ancient agora was the commercial, political and financial heart of ancient Athens and is the place where Socrates, Plato and many world-known philosophers walked and taught their thinking. You will visit the Hephaestus Temple, the best preserved Greek Temple from the 5th century BC and you will see the wonderful church of the 12 Apostles, the Temple of Apollo Patroos, the Stoa of Zeus, the Altar of Zeus. With the input of your knowledgeable guide, the ancient stones will come alive. Then your licensed guide will take you to the Attalos Museum, which is worthwhile visiting as it houses artifacts of great historical value.
We took this 90 min tour on our last day in Athens to basically fill in time. Am so glad we did as we would never have visited the Ancient Agora or area if we hadn’t. Dorina was a fabulous guide explaining the history of the area and the ruins. After walking up to Hephaestus Temple we went to the Attalos museum where relics of the area are on display. After the tour was finished you could stay and continue to look around on your own. Highly recommend. (Tip: make sure you go to the Ancient Agora to meet and not the Roman Agora.
Discover both ancient and modern Athens on this tour. First, you will head to the Acropolis, which - along with its Parthenon - is the most important ancient site in the Western world. You need around one hour to visit the Acropolis and Parthenon (in high season calculate an hour and a half). After this, you will take a panoramic tour around all of Athens' most important monuments. You will have the opportunity to visit, stop, and take pictures at: the Temple of Zeus, Panathenaic Stadium, National Library, the Greek Parliament with the changing of the guards, and Ancient Agora/Roman Agora. You can also choose to stop for shopping, souvenirs, or a walk in famous areas like the Plaka old city area, the Monastiraki area, Ermou street shopping center, or Varvakeios central food market. Next, you will drive 10km south from the center of Athens to the port city of Piraeus. This is the bigges...

He was ver clever in parking when needed. His advice and suggestions all on target. This man is extraordinary in his job. He obviously loves his job and I can not think of a finer ambassador for your company and country

This experience was amazing! The communication was good across the board. We were directed via phone call to our driver from the port so there was no confusion at all. The driver (we called him 'G') was funny and warm, he was talking to us about the history of Athens and about himself and made us feel like family. He not only dropped us off but walked us to the tour starting point. The tour guide was amazing she knew so much of the Greek history and mythology it was a very in depth and insightful tour. She constantly stopped to talk about the history (we didn't feel rushed) and made sure we were all okay and having fun. We saw so many amazing sites and learned the background behind them. We finished our tour and called the driver who earlier gave us his number and he came straight away to pick us up. We made it back to the ship in good time. Overall we had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Tour was exactly as described, there were 4 of us, all over in our 70’s & 80’s and the guide stopped to let us old folks keep up. She did an excellent job. Information provided gave us a better insight into the history of the Acropolis and recommend the use of a guide if you don’t want to miss anything The Acropolis Museum is a must after visiting the Acropolis. Again our guide made what we saw come to life and gave us a better understanding of what we were observing Highly recommended
This pass is worth it , imagine sleeping until 11am and trying to get all of this done without having a skip the line pass , would be waiting in line all day.
It's a good pass. Even though we didn't visit all of the sites available on the pass, we still saved money.
Great ticket! Allows uncomplicated and quick entry. Everything went very smoothly for us. Recommendable!
unforgettable experience, discovery learning, very interesting!
