Garda Lake: Guided Palvico Gorge Canyoning Trip

4. Garda Lake: Guided Palvico Gorge Canyoning Trip

Steep, towering rock walls, enchanted caves, crystal clear water, mystical light and shadow play. Canyoning Palvico is one of the most impressive Lake Garda canyoning tours in northern Italy. The canyon in Valle di Ledro has a bit of everything: jumps (up to 3 metres), rock slides and swimming passages, as well as abseil cliffs, the longest of which is a 50 metre waterfall. Those who do not want to jump will be rappelled down. Tip: We recommend a good physical fitness, passion for water and no fear of heights. Why Canyoning Palvico: Canyoning Palvico is - despite the same duration - more demanding than the tour through the Canyon Rio Nero. The reason why is that there are hardly any possibilities to get out of the canyon, the higher cliffs and therefore the more mystical atmosphere, the colder water and the very long abseiling section. You do not have to walk.

Great tour. We loved sightseeing and our favourite bit was definitely the Sass Pordoi cable car. We would have liked more of an itinerary so we knew when we would be eating lunch, we would recommend taking some snacks to see you through. The tour guide was great, funny and knowledgable. We were staying in Riva Del Garda and so we were one of the last to be picked up and first to be dropped off which was an added bonus. Overall it was one of the highlights of our stay at Lake Garda and I would definitely recommend to others!

Amazing trip. Our trip began through green vineyards and apple farms . Guide Francesco was so professional and informative and told us many stories about local culture and local life. Also, the driver was very experienced. No stress during our mountain trip. Most impressive was covered in snow tops of Dalamite. Don't forget to take a warmer coat and cardigan, it was -5 C. Little town Ortisei amazing little town.I highly recommend this tour to everyone who plans to visit Lake Garda.
