Avoid altitude and motion sickness by doing the above so you can enjoy the unique, spectacular views. I'm glad to have have had a GPS with an altimeter so I could track each level of height, and a plastic card and handkerchief to keep the ice from forming too thickly on the window. The tour guide was a good story teller, but sometimes she spoke too fast in her thick accent. The hot springs were unique, but if you spend too much time in them they sap your energy. I would do it again. Very enjoyable!

A great day with a very early start. This is made a little easier because pick ups are done efficiently and then your on the road to the canyon. The blankets you’re given and the calm driving allow you to rug up and catch another few hours sleep. Our guide was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and kept us informed about what was to happen and what we should expect. All up a interesting tour with lots of great photo opportunities and much information shared.

Unfortunately we were put in a tour of Spanish speaking locals. Since I am fluent in Spanish I translated all what was said to my husband, but this should not happen when you book via GetYourGuide a tour in English! Very disappointing. We had booked this tour two days in advance. The landscape is incredibly beautiful and with the help of our guide we were able to watch 7 condors! The guide took us to a place near to the touristic view points. It was a short and easy 1 hour walk. We had also lunch which was good and several stops at small villages - all very interesting and worth seeing. I would recommend to visit this beautiful landscape, it’s definitely a must-see once in a lifetime.
