  • From South Tenerife: VIP Gomera Tour

    1. From South Tenerife: VIP Gomera Tour

Join this 9-hour 4-wheel drive tour and explore the island of Gomera in a different and fun way. Leave from Playa de las Américas in the south of Tenerife on the morning boat for San Sebastián de la Gomera. Get the luxury treatment in an exclusive area with free food and drink onboard. The island of Gomera has much to offer, including its stunning landscapes and its people, the incomparable Garajonay National Park and the history of the cultural heritage of the whistling language. You’ll have time to stop to enjoy a meal and to visit some of the island's picturesque villages. Discover the island that was the bridge to the discovery of the New World. Return to Tenerife by boat at the end of the tour.

The island of Gomera is absolutely stunning and the tour very enjoyable. There are plenty of stops for photo graphs and the mountain top restaurant picked for lunch has amazing views. The only thing I’d warn people about is this may not be the right trip for anyone with a fear of heights as not only are some of the roads used narrow with passing places there are a lot of tight corners when you see how close to the edge of a clog you are and how far down it is. This also applies to lunch as most tables are next to the floor to ceiling glass windows and it’s a very long way down.

  • Tenerife: Teide Buggy Tour Experience

    2. Tenerife: Teide Buggy Tour Experience

Discover the Cañadas del Teide National Park in a different way with a guided buggy tour suitable for all experience levels. Choose from two tour routes, travel in a group of no more than 5 buggies, and admire the picturesque views of the national park. Enjoy enough time at the different stops to interact with the guides and other participants, too.

Select from the following tour options: 1. Teide Full Tour — 150 kilometers/90 miles: Start this circular route at Las Américas and travel along the coast to the emblematic cliffs of Los Gigantes. Then, continue through the towns of Chío and Guía de Isora to Las Cañadas del Teide National Park. At an altitude of 2,200 meters (7,220 feet), have time to relax, breathe fresh air, and contemplate the magnificent panoramas that the highest Spanish mountain offers.

On the way back, visit Vilaflor, a charming town ...

  • Tenerife: Quad Bike Off-Road Adventure

    3. Tenerife: Quad Bike Off-Road Adventure

Start your quad bike tour at Arona. From here, you’ll wind your way up to Villaflor along dirt paths and surrounded by nature. Your guide will adapt the ride to the groups’ driving skills. You’ll spend approximately 90-minutes exploring the region by quad bike, with the total activity time being approximately 2.5-hours. Follow your guide along with a range of off-road paths as you challenge your driving skills. The tour takes place in small groups with a maximum of 5 quad bikes in each group. Your guide will provide clear safety instructions and assist you in driving your quad bike. The quad bikes are powerful and make climbing easy even with 2 people on them.

  • El Teide: Full-Day Road Cycling Route on Fridays

    4. El Teide: Full-Day Road Cycling Route on Fridays

Join the dream of every cyclist, crowning the longest climb in Europe and the most frequented by the international pack. Head to La Camella to start warming up for about 15 kilometers. The journey to Granadilla will be very comfortable and will allow you to loosen your legs a little. The climb is from 12 kilometers to 5 - 6% of slope. Once in Vilaflor, tackle the most complicated part, a 14-kilometer climb without rest. The average of the ramps is 8% but the main obstacle is the acclimatization due to the decrease of the pressure of the oxygen, as you climb about 2,100 on the way to Retamar. Descend to the Teide National Park, the highest area of the island Tenerife and Spain, just 8 kilometers to the National Parador, a place chosen by professional cyclists for their preseason. Head roughly 45 kilometers down to Playa de las Americas, enjoying the views.

  • Playa de las Americas: 3-Hour Quad Bike Forest Ride

    5. Playa de las Americas: 3-Hour Quad Bike Forest Ride

Following pickup from your hotel, you will start your 60-kilometer quad bike drive from Playa de las Americas. You will venture along dirt tracks and secondary roads whilst viewing the stunning forests and ravines from a different perspective. Next, you will ascend into the hills to reach an altitude of up to 1,700 meters. You will then travel deep into the forests and admire the impressive landscapes of the foothills of Teide mountain in the villages of Arona and La Escalona. Later, continue to the village of Vilaflor at the foot of Teide, where you will get some time to explore and recharge. You will then make your way back to the starting point in Playa de las Americas where you will get more impressive views of the protected landscapes and endemic flora along the way.

They picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back off. That was great especially being in a strange place for the first time. This excursion was fun. It was a beautiful view. We took paved side streets up the mountain through small towns. It was a dusty ride after we went off road. Make sure you have something to cover your nose and mouth and wear goggles. The guides were funny and friendly. They did not speak English well, and we did not speak Spanish, but we made it work. It was not a lot of forest to see, but it was nice. It was a mountain but not Mt. Tiede. If you like riding it will be a good change from the beach scene.
