This tour was the best decision we made. We had a 20 hour layover in Athens and were determined to make the most out of it. The food was amazing and we learned about the city. Our guide, Giota, was so kind and funny. She took us to places away from the tourist spots and explained the history, origin, and culture behind the food we ate. This tour made us want to plan an entire trip dedicated to exploring all of the recommendations Giota had for us in Athens. I would highly recommend doing this tour, especially if you have a long layover!

Giota was funny, smart and kept FORCING us to eat more and more food. :) The reviews that talk about how much food this tour has are NO JOKE. We basically had three full meals plus dessert in the span of three hours. While we ate and walked, she told us all about the history of Greece and Greek food. Oh. And we learned that Greeks are basically made of olive oil!
