It was such a lovely drive and on the way, we stopped at an ancient Acropolis dated back to 1600BC. It was surreal sitting on the same steps as theatre goes that many centuries ago. Once we arrived at Sounion, we could see the Temple of Poseidon and it was an amazing view. There is a lovely cafe there to grab refreshments and once you’re up on the hill at the temple, you see nothing but the most amazing views of the Aegean. Athina our host was amazingly knowledgeable. She shared the entire Greek mythology timeline with us the entire way. Very much recommended. The Sunset was gorgeous and unforgettable!

Very nice trip. We were picked up at the Halandri metro exit by mini bus. We had an excellent guide throughout this excursion. I would like to thank Stavroula for sharing his passion for Greek history and archeology with us. We started by visiting the oldest theater in Europe. Then we traveled to Cape Sounion to see the Temple of Poseidon. The temple is beautiful and the sunset was very beautiful although it didn't last long due to many clouds.

Stavroula was a charming, engaging, knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humor. She made the 2-hour drive pass by quickly. The trip was just the right length, with a surprise stop at an amazing ancient theater. Cape Sounion and the temple were stunning, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the sunset. Well worth the time, and an incredible experience for a reasonable price. The driver of the very nice small van was also excellent.

The view was amazing and the guide helpful. We left Athens with a bit of delay. Also I would have liked to have more time there (in order to not always have to check the time) and more information on the Temple of Poseidon.

nice evening. tour guide's English was good. lots of history explained while enroute too site which was great.
