Watch a unique, funny and touching play, right next to the Acropolis museum. Do not leave Greece without joining that thrilling experience, a theater performance given by actors talking in English and learn about some of the most interesting myths related to ancient Greece. The story goes like this: “During his visit to the Acropolis, a present-day tourist slips and gets knocked out. When he awakens, he finds himself transported to the 5th century B.C, Athens. There, he will have an intense talk with Medea, watch the daughters of Oedipus grieve, chase the god of Wealth himself around the Parthenon and find out how Odysseus solved a Cyclopean problem.”
Came on honeymoon, and spotted this little gem in the activities lists. We both love theater - and ancient Greek theater is a fave - so we went for it! It was brilliant. The handmade masks were beautiful. The players were not just talented, it was also clear how hard they work at every aspect. It's a well oiled machine at this point! We loved the excerpts, and the tie-in story. On top of all that, the rooftop views are wonderful. The backdrop above the stage is a lit-up Acropolis, and all around you can see the city spread out, lights a-twinkling, moon shining. It was just great, and we'd highly recommend it!

Leave for Epidauros, to visit the theatre (4th-century BC) famous for its astonishing acoustics. Return to Athens by the National Road connecting Epidauros with Corinth. Lunch in Mycenae. Clients staying along the coast will depart for their hotels from the local tour op...
the tour guide was good but it was both English and French which they didn't let us know beforehand. it was a good day out aside from the lunch which was appalling. cold lamb, cold moussaka stale fries, and some grapes for dessert. don't waste your money with the lunch option - order off the a la carte menu instead. note that there isn't a lot of time at each site which I was happy with but others may want more time.

We got to jump in the water and swim/snorkle twice and it was stunning! Mike the captain was so fun and everything was great! A fun way to spend our anniversary!
