During a stop here, enjoy the opportunity to swim nearby. The tour ends with a drop off at your hotel in Athens.

I was looking for an afternoon sunset tour to Cepe Sunion that would combine seeing some of the Athens Riviera and some swimming. This one fit the bill. On top of everything we had a wonderful guide, Sotiris, a comfortable Mercedes van, and there were only 5 of us - allowing for safe travel and social distancing. The program was well-chosen, the swimming spot was perfect, so was the timing - we made it to the temple of Zeus in time to see it and then watch the sunset. Everyone was very pleased and said it was the highlight of their experience. Sotiris was a wonderful guide and driver - polite, friendly and attentive. Communication with the host was great - he told me where to be for pickup and explained how to get there. I recommend the tour. Take it, you'll enjoy it.

  • Athens: Ancient Greek Theater Performance

    9. Athens: Ancient Greek Theater Performance

Watch a unique, funny and touching play, right next to the Acropolis museum. Do not leave Greece without joining that thrilling experience, a theater performance given by actors talking in English and learn about some of the most interesting myths related to ancient Greece. The story goes like this: “During his visit to the Acropolis, a present-day tourist slips and gets knocked out. When he awakens, he finds himself transported to the 5th century B.C, Athens. There, he will have an intense talk with Medea, watch the daughters of Oedipus grieve, chase the god of Wealth himself around the Parthenon and find out how Odysseus solved a Cyclopean problem.”

Came on honeymoon, and spotted this little gem in the activities lists. We both love theater - and ancient Greek theater is a fave - so we went for it! It was brilliant. The handmade masks were beautiful. The players were not just talented, it was also clear how hard they work at every aspect. It's a well oiled machine at this point! We loved the excerpts, and the tie-in story. On top of all that, the rooftop views are wonderful. The backdrop above the stage is a lit-up Acropolis, and all around you can see the city spread out, lights a-twinkling, moon shining. It was just great, and we'd highly recommend it!

Nice way to get an overview of the area and sites to visit during our stay. We planned to pick up the bus along the route after having taken a cab to a specific site. It was difficult to locate exactly where the pick-up point was; the map provided does not give enough detail to find the stop. We finally did find it after wandering around a bit. The bus arrived about 10 minutes later than the schedule indicated.

Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for an acropolis tour in Athens. We had Alexia as our tour guide and she was incredible! She was so friendly and informative. She has 2 masters degrees focusing on the subject matter of the tour and both her knowledge and passion about the subjects are incredible! She plans the tour so meticulously making sure you have the best possible experience! The order she decides to do things makes the tour so enjoyable and also helps to avoid the major crowds. At the conclusion of the tour she also provided amazing recommendations for things to in Athens and other Greek islands. She even walked us to one of the places she recommended so we wouldn’t get lost! She was amazing and so was the tour!

Great tour and tour guide!! She brought illustrations of historical stages which help me understand what the structures looked like as a point of reference. She was very passionate and informative. Best tour have done so far in Greece.

The great guide Anastasia was missing, telling the mythology, she opened it finished, but it is very intense to be in the enigmatic temple the fall and the sun, something unique, the great driver

Alexia was fabulous! She knew so much about the history of Athens and Greece. The small group was perfectly intimate so you could ask questions.

Our instructor was exsalant, the food not so much, in my opinion the whine was a bad choice.
