Good hiking excursion in the Atlas, with an expert guide (Omar). He was not an expert in Spanish, but he made himself understood perfectly. A pleasant route of about 2 hours before eating. We were able to see the beauty of the valleys and cross some Berber village. We also saw a couple of small waterfalls. Very rich food in a hotel with a balcony overlooking beautiful views. Then I thought we were going to do another short route, but we simply made our way back to the agency's office so that the driver could pick us up.

The driver arrived at a quarter to nine, as agreed. Then we went to the valleys, we went inside and got a tour through the traditional Berber houses. Eventually we arrived at the falls where a guide was waiting for us, it was a tough trip but oh so beautiful. Our guide brought us to the waterfalls and wonderful dining occasions. Including tahini at the Berbers. Delicious! This tour was highly recommended.

Great experience

The day trip was one I would recommend. The driver who picked us up was professional and friendly. The trip to the mountains was nice. But be prepared to stop at some obligatory places where the local Berbers sell their goods. Once we reached the Atlas mountains we were greeted by a guide who took us to the cascading waterfalls. They were beatifull but crowded. So our guide took us of the main trail to a more secluded path. That allowed us really take in the view of the mountains and the small villages. After our light hike (1.5 hours). Our lunch was set up in the middle of the Ourika valley river. It was a perfect ending to a great day.
