Day 1: You will be picked up at the meeting point at Cafe France in Jamaa El Fna square. First cross the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass of the High Atlas mountains. Pass through many Berber villages, and once in the desert, see the riverside oasis and barren hillsides which are clustered with Kasbahs. After lunch, drive further to Zagora with beautiful views of the Draa Valley. You will arrive there at around 04:00 PM and after a short break, ride camels into the dunes where you will spend the night in Berber tents. After watching a beautiful sunset, enjoy a fantastic dinner. Day 2: After viewing the most beautiful sunrise and having breakfast at the camp site, ride the camels back to the auberge. Drive back to Marrakech, again via Tichka pass. You will then be dropped off near Jamaa El Fna square between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

After morning pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech, set off on a roughly 1-hour long drive into the High Atlas Mountains, bound for the mountain town of Tahnaout. Arriving, you’ll be paired with a horse and provided with all the necessary equipment to set off on a journey through stunning mountain trails. Your guide will lead you through towering juniper forests, steadily through the foothills of the mountain range, up to scenic viewpoints over the Asni Valley and sprawling Al Haouz plains. Ride on to Rha Moulay Brahim, where you’ll drop off your horse. Continue on, via car, to Imlil for a sumptuous local lunch with a view of the highest peaks of the High Atlas Mountains. After lunch, you’ll head back down the mountain to your accommodation in Marrakech.

Your driver will pick you up from your Marrakech accommodation in the morning to begin your drive to the valley. Along the way you’ll get your first glimpses of the High Atlas Mountains including snow capped peaks, depending on the time of year. You will visit a women cooperative for argan trees then take a camel ride in Moulay Brahim Valley. You will arrive at your host's home and take a short walk through the village to the family home. Enjoy a fresh breakfast of all local products before you take a longer walk through the villages and valley (optional). Before lunch, visit the historic 12th Century Tin Mal Mosque as well as see how clay tajines are made – and possibly try your hand at making them as well. After you’ve worked up an appetite, return to the family home and dig into a delicious home cooked lunch with seasonal products. Your driver will return to bring you back to Marrakech. This experience gives you an opportunity to see life in a local Berber village.

Zip-line, hike, and more on this adventure from Marrakesh, pickup, drop-off, and lunch included. Take in the scenery of the Atlas Mountains and hike through typical Berber villages. See one of the most popular sites in the area, Terres d’Amour, a stunning nature reserve. Start your adventure with convenient pickup and drop-off at your Marrakesh hotel or address. Head 35 km out of Marrakech to the Tahnaout where everything officially begins. Make your first stop for the day to take in the views and snap some photos of one of the oldest villages in the region. Afterward, participate in an introduction and learning experience about the production of Argan and take part in a bread and oil tasting with Moroccan welcome tea. Before zip-lining, get a briefing about the activity from your guide. Learn detailed safety instructions and get comfortable with what to do during the ride so you can enjoy your ride to the fullest and stay safe. Then, gear up and start zip-lining above the pine forest. With your heart pumping with excitement, experience the best birds-eye view of the area that you can’t get from anywhere else. Embark on four zip-lines, one after another, taking you over stunning scenery above the valleys. Admire the typical Berber villages built of reach-red-mud plaster. Finish the loop back to the base for a break and lunch, which will be served at a Terres d’Amour’s restaurant or a local one. End your day with a flexible walk through the Berber villages before heading back to your hotel.

This shared day-trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech will start with a pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in the morning. From here you will venture out of town to visit the most beautiful and highest waterfalls in North Africa (about 100-meters high). Upon arrival, you will begin by enjoying a hike in the village of Ouzoud. Feel free to explore the area yourself or with a local guide, as you cross the green valley, shady orchards and traditional water mills. You will even be able to meet the Berbers living in the mountains. After you arrive at the huge waterfalls, you will be able to see the waterfalls falling back and forth, forming a panorama of magic and rainbows. At the foot of the waterfalls, lunch can be taken at leisure in one of the local cafes that serve delicious Tagines next to the stream, complete with beautiful views of the waterfalls. Ascending to the top of the falls, you will come across families of maggot monkeys, who accustomed to tourists will welcome you in their own special way. Your day trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls will end in Marrakech, at which point you will be dropped off at your accommodation.

Depart Marrakech and journey by air-conditioned vehicle towards the Middle Atlas mountain range. Enjoy breathtaking views of the landscape as you make your way to Ouzoud Waterfalls in the village of Tanaghmeilt. This is a shared trip to Imlil from Marrakech which starts around at 9:00 AM with the pick-up from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech. It takes 1.5 hours to reach Imlil park. You will visit Imlil which is situated approximately 64 kilometers south of Marrakesh and it can be reached by road through the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. Imlil is the end of the tarmac road, it is a good starting point for a trekking holiday or for climbing Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa (4167 meters). On Saturdays, you can visit the Asni Berber market, walk up to the Kasbah and explore the surrounding trails and enjoy superb views along the valley of Riraya. At this point in the mountains, you will enter true Berber country, meet your english skeaping guide and walk through the small High Atlas Mountain village of Aremd. You will be back at your hotel in Marrakech around 06:00 PM.

8. From Marrakech: Full-Day Atlas Mountain Berber Tour

The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Marrakech in the morning and heads south through the Plains of Haouz towards Asni, which lies at the base of the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive at the first stop of the day, an Argan oil cooperative, and learn about the fascinating process of producing Argan oil from start to finish. After your introduction to the world of Argan oil, the tour continues south, passing by the Kasbah Tamadot which was once part of the Virgin Empire and is now a luxury retreat. Arrive at the second stop of the day, Imlil village, and enjoy a 2-hour mountain trek through the surrounding landscapes with an expert guide. Alternatively, you can rent a mule for the trip. Along the way, marvel at stunning waterfalls and breathtaking views, as well as stopping by local Berber villages and the hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa, and Imoula. Trek towards the Kasbah du Toubkal next and enjoy some drinks at your own expense such as a refreshing mint tea. Sit back and relax as you admire some of the very best views the High Atlas Mountains have to offer, then head to a nearby Berber guest house to dine on a traditional Moroccan family meal. Your full-day tour will begin at 9:00AM, at which point your driver will pick you up from your centrally-located Marrakech hotel. Located 30 kilometers south of Marrakech on the road to the great Atlas, the green valley of the Ourika plunges into a unique and enchanting landscape that strongly contrasts with the bustling center of Marrakech. The road sinks into the mountains of the Grand Atlas up the Oued Ourika. The traditional Berber houses contrast with the brown stratification of their roofs with the clay slopes where they take root. you will eventually arrive in the village of Setti Fatma, 1500 meters above sea level. This village has a greatly picturesque setting and is surrounded by walnut trees and weeping willows. After exploring this exotic location, your local guide will take you for a short walk to the beautiful waterfalls. 10. Marrakesh: 3-Day Valley Trek Comfort Tour

Day 1: Marrakesh, Imi Oughlad, Tinzert, and Marigha You'll depart at 9:00AM from your accommodation in Marrakesh, from where you will travel for 1.5 hours to Imi Oughlad (1,450 meters). It will be there that you will leave your vehicle and will meet your Berber muleteer and guide. Your first day will be an easy acclimatization trek in the Ouirgane National Park. The terrain there is gentle, consisting of copper-green soil and beautiful juniper trees. You’ll later spend the night in an eco-lodge in Ouirgane, which will be a comfortable guest house with en-suite rooms and a swimming pool. Day 2: Marigha and Azzaden Valley (Ait Aissa) After breakfast you’ll head up and out of the valley and traverse over to the stunning Tassa Ouirgane Valley. The views will open up to expose a rushing mountain stream surrounded by lush walnut groves, which will lead up towards Toubkal and the sister peaks at the head of the valley. That evening, you’ll spend the night in a luxury Toubkal lodge. Day 3: Ait Aissa, Tizi n Mzik, and Imlil Your final day involves a fantastic climb out of the Azzadene Valley. You’ll head up the valley towards Tizi Oussem, from where you will ascend towards the pass at Tizi n Mzik (2,489 meters) before descending down into Imlil. After lunch in Imlil you’ll be transferred back to Marrakesh, with plenty of time to explore the city in the evening.

I had a great 2 day tour from Marrakech to Sahara desert. It was a very pleasant trip. The driver was very friendly and safe. Everyone at the camp was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend it , and plan to do it when I come back to Morocco. Thank you team!

I really like this quick trip to the Sahara desert. It involves lots of driving, but that's fine to me. I enjoyed it, especially the camel ride and the sleeping in tent at the camp. Thank you for your organization.
