Embark the bus in the morning at Hiroshima Station and head towards Hiroshima Castle. Pass by the re-built castle and be inspired by its beauty.  Arrive at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and visit the Atomic Bomb Dome. Explore this world heritage site following a visit to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.  Pass by the former Army Clothing Depot and listen to the background stories coming from the audio guide.  Leaving Hiroshima on a high-speed boat you can marvel at the Seto Inland Sea coastline, Miyajima Port and Miyajima. Depending on the traffic you will have some free time in Miyajima. Enjoy your time and visit Itsukushima Shrine or watch the floating gate. If you are lucky you might be able to walk through it.  Get up close to friendly deer which were considered sacred messengers from the gods.  You will be back at Hiroshima Station in the afternoon around 4:30 PM.

Learn about the memories contained in the monuments and the Atomic Bomb Dome and what happened 70 years ago. [11:30/15:30] Sendamachi, Miyukibashi Bridge, Kyobashi River, etc. The guide will show you the actual townscape of Hiroshima in the suburbs away from the touristic area. You will find beautiful Hiroshima vigorously revived from the tremendous damages by the atomic bombing while visiting numerous A-bomb heritage sites and listening to the episodes handed down in Hiroshima. [13:00/ 17:00] The tour finishes at the meeting point. *You will be given data of the photos taken on the day. *If you wish, we can also guide you to the Atomic Bomb Museum. First stop is a tour through the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. Here, you will learn the horrors of the atomic bomb and how the people of Hiroshima coped with the tragedy.  Feel the breeze as you go up to the Orizuru Tower's observatory area. Here you can get a wide view of the city. The Orizuru (paper crane) is considered as a symbol of peace; learn how to make one and make a wish. At the top of the Orizuru Tower, you'll enjoy a lunch of local cuisine.  After lunch, your guide will take you to see the Aorigi Tree, which brought hope after the atomic bomb. Then visit the Atomic Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn more about Japanese life and feel the revival of the city. Travel along the orange, green andlemon routes of the Meipuru-pu bus to easily access the sightseeing spots in the city center of Hiroshima.  In each route, the bus passes by the Atomic Bomb Dome, as well as the Peace Park. The starting point of the route is Hiroshima Shinkansen Station, which is easily reached by public transport. The bus runs from 8:00 AM to 5:45 PM every day.

Great and relaxing experience to ecycle across Hiroshima. Tomomi our guide for the 3+ hours tour was very friendly and knowledgeful about the town and it’s history. We strongly Ecom end the activity and all four of us will now strongly consider this type of tour in the future. Also electric bike make it very easy.

A really great tour seeing the main sights as well as other more off the beaten track locations. An insight into the recovery of Hiroshima following the A-bomb and the resilience of the people. Very knowledgeable and passionate guides complimented the tour with personal stories and reflections. Don’t miss it.

The 3-hour bike tour to important places in Hiroshima with Tomomi was extremely interesting. We learned a lot from her about Hiroshima in the past and the positive attitude today. Thanks to Tomomi we will keep this day in special memory.
