Enjoy a hotel pickup service on this unique combined tour experience from Krakow. Get picked up from your hotel and travel to the Auschwitz I Museum to begin your walking tour with a certified educator. Explore the remains of the Nazi camp's barracks, watchtowers, and crematoriums. With the help of the provided headset, listen as your guide tells about the ghastly Nazi crimes committed in the camps and hear stories of the everyday lives of the prisoners. Next, continue the tour at the Auschwitz-Birkenau II Memorial. Witness gas chambers and the remains of the railway which transported prisoners to the camps. After a lunch break, drive to the nearby town of Wieliczka to visit its famous salt mine. Prearranged tickets will be waiting for you at the salt mine along with a local guide. Start the tour inside the salt mine by walking down long sets of steps, taking you 135 meters underground and through labyrinthine passageways, tunnels, and shafts. See underground lakes, 4 chapels, and unique statues carved by miners out of rock salt. Experience a unique place to visit and a must-see during your stay in Krakow. Once the guided tour is over, take a lift from the underground back up to the main ground level to meet your driver. Relax as you make the journey back to your accommodation Krakow.

Very informative trips. Well worth making the effort to go. Well organised. Collected on time. Guides were brilliant at the individual places too. Extremely knowledgeable. We did find a lot of the staff (not inc the guides) at the venues were very rude. Cafe/gift shop staff mainly. Not sure if it’s because we were English? Was just a shame seeing as the tour organisers and the guides were all so welcoming.

Very well organized great guides and pick up & drop off comfortable. Do not be afraid of the long time it contains all the breaks and transport time (shall be considered as max time) Only 2 piece of very personal advice, the visit are trying do not do both in the same day. Especially the visit to the camp is exhausting, emotionally, I felt sick, but truly like having fever. Try to so something joyful after the camp, just to feel better.

The guide at Auschwitz/Birkenau was excellent. She was so passionate and informative as well as being a local from the same area as the camps. There was alot of hanging around waiting to enter the camps which wasn't the fault of the guide. 2 hours waiting and even then we would've had to wait another half an hour on top so we were taken to see the Birkenau camp 1st then back to Auschwitz after. By this time it was 5pm as we entered the Auschwitz camp. We did the Salt Mine in the morning (also waiting for 45 minutes to enter), but very good. A very long day that I'm sure could have been shortened if we weren't made to wait around for so long to get into the sites
