The tour was well worth the time and money. We had an excellent guide, Lucille, I think. She really went all out to make the tour work and see to it that we learned as much as possible about the history and culture of the palace and the "two Popes" situation.

Efficient office, prompt arrival of our guide who was very good - pleasant, friendly, informative. Billed as a tour of Avignon but did not go beyond the area around Le Pont, the gardens above it, the cathedral and Le Palais des Papes. Nice little spot chosen for a glass of wine at the end of the tour. Possibly a bit pricy for what it was.
