Walpa Gorge was so cool and huge up close. Pleased we went and only a short trip, so had good downtime the rest of the day, which is what we wanted. Though if you want leisurely time to look around then pick a longer version, as the time at the Gorge is fairly limited.

Easy to book, good price, prompt pick up, friendly & courteous driver on the way out although his accent was very hard to understand, which was a shame as we could only catch snippets of the commentary. The walk was very rushed & there were no toilet facilities. On the way back we swapped buses 1\2 way where there was a toilet that the first driver said we would be able to use, but the 2nd driver said no we couldn’t as she was on a tight schedule & we would need to wait until we got back to the resort. Passengers weren’t happy. The Gorge itself was stunning; not difficult at all & rocks underfoot were not as loose as we thought. Still need good sneakers, not sandels or thongs. Some great photos. A beautiful spot.

The walk was very rocky - and uphill so Moderate as described. A Very interesting pattern of vegetation with actual small trees at the end and a small waterhole. Recent rains meant lots of lovely flowers around and flocks of tiny birds. We were allowed to walk by ourselves at our own pace , the driver did not talk continuously, and he let us stop by the viewing platform, all of which was excellent. This walk, coupled with the separate extended 36min helicopter ride over the Olga's where we could see where we walked, was awesome, and I appreciated the many features of the Olga's probably more than Uluru itself.
