    Begin your tour of Sete Cidades and the lakes of São Miguel with a visit to some pineapple greenhouses. See the plantation and production process of the Azores famous crop from start to end. Continue towards the village of Sete Cidades ("Seven Cities") stopping en route for some panoramic views of the west of the island of São Miguel. Marvel at a stunning scenery of small hills and green pastures, and see the peak of Carvão, from where both the north and south coasts of the island can be seen. Discover some of the island's smaller lakes such as the Lagoa das Empadadas, Lagoa do Canario and Lagoa de Santiago. Experience the island's most famous observation point, considered one of the "7 Natural Wonders of Portugal." Then, continue into the peaceful village of Sete Cidades, dramatically located at the bottom of a volcanic crater. Acclimatize to the serene way of life in this extraordinary place, and visit the harmonious church. Get stunning views of the fishing village of Mosteiros from the Escalvado viewpoint, from where you can admire the local summer houses, exquisite beach and natural pools created by lava formations.

    We had a great tour with Leon! He took us literally off the beaten path to make sure we got the best views of everything. My group loves to take pictures, and he delivered with the most amazing settings. He literally took us to three different spots to get the best sunset views. We enjoyed our time with Leon so much that we booked him for a full day Furnas tour the next day, and he delivered an unforgettable experience.

    We had the most amazing experience visiting Sete Cidades despite the rainy weather! Our guide did an extraordinary job adapting to the difficult weather conditions and gave us a complete tour of the island in addition to Sete Cidades, stopping at many view points along the way.     Can not give this tour 5 stars since we had bad weather and could not se much from the vantagepoints. So the tour is really weather dependent. Our guide however did an amazing job and adjusted our tour so we could get the best from it. Was expexting a minibus and a group of 8 people, but it was just me, my gf and our guide.
