Alex was our captain, from the first moment he made us feel at ease. He even acted as a guide for us, explaining curiosities and stories about the lagoon. The environment is very beautiful and the boat is super comfortable, although it may give the opposite feeling. We would have stayed much longer!

David and Captain Carlos gave us the trip of a lifetime. So informative and kind. The colors of Lake Bacalar are not like anything I’ve ever seen or imagined. The refreshments were a nice touch, though a bit sparse (a small fruit plate), but the beer and other drinks were fabulous. I would do this tour again as many times as possible.

There was some initial confusion about which tour I was actually on. But once that got worked out, everything was great. I highly recommend it. I saw some other tours but I think our boat was the best. It was much lower in the water than the other catamarans, which I liked. The guide was knowledgeable and helpful (I had trouble getting back on the catamaran), and did a beautiful fruit thingy at the end with delicious mango, pineapple and kiwi.
