Full description
Spend a full day visiting popular markets and famous temples in Bangkok on a private tour, complete with private, air-conditioned car and personal guide. Start with a visit to the Maeklong railway market and explore the stalls that are actually set up on the tracks. Make a quick stop at a coconut farm to learn about the production of coconut sugar, then continue to the vibrant and colorful Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Enjoy a boat ride on a small long boat through the market as you see local vendors paddle their boats to sell things along the canals. Return to Bangkok for lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. Wat Pho is home to a 46-meter-long and 15-meter-high Buddha statue and the first open university of Thailand. The final stop on the tour is Wat Arun, better known as the Temple of Dawn which had existed since the 17th century. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Bangkok.

The tour was a great experience. Pat, our guide, was wonderful. He was thorough in explaining temple history. He also made the railroad and water market a fun experience. He took time to take very beautiful pictures of us. Early on in the tour, Pat learned that I like mango fruit. So he treated us with mango desserts as the day went on. It was a very sweet gesture. We stopped off for lunch and had a nice conversation as we ate and relaxed for a bit. Be ready for a long and tiring day, lots of walking, but lots of fun. Great way to see a little bit of everything in one day.

This is a must do! It is incredible how close you are to the train once it arrives. Literally your nose can touch the side of the train if you lean forward. Such a picturesque site and the food from here was absolutely delicious. The markets have many souvenirs at a fraction of the price from anywhere else. Gi was our tour guide and she was amazing! I highly recommend doing this tour with her!
