Full description
This four-hour journey weaves through the backstreets and alleys of Old Bangkok to small street vendors and eateries that have been serving hungry locals for years. This tour has been carefully curated by a Bangkok chef, who grew up in the district and visits many of the spots his father took him to decades ago. Thousands of guests have discovered the real food of Bangkok in places they’d simply never find alone on this tour. It's not just about the food though. It’s about Bangkok eating culture, its history, and, most importantly, the people behind the food, who have dedicated their lives to cooking on the street. There’s no doubt about it – you’ll most certainly eat well on this small-group tour that’s limited to just eight guests. Some highlights of this 16+ taster menu include working chopsticks over crispy chive dumplings with nam jim jaew sauce, mopping up rich satay sauce with charcoal-grilled coconut chicken skewers and slurping up workers’ noodles in slow-cooked pork broth.

What a great food tour! Everything about it was just right, very friendly and knowledgeable guides that took us to places you absolutely wouldn't find on your own where we ate delicious food and drank some delicious drinks too. The little things make all the difference, water, napkins, wet wipes and a toilet stop water all included. Massive thanks to Andy @ Fon for a great night, aroi mak!

Amazing food and knowledgeable guides. Andy was fantastic. Don't know how they find there way around the maze of alleys and back streets. Don't forget to leave room for the Soya icecream and the donuts. Would recommend this tour if you want to best food in town at affordable prices.

Good street food tour.

This tour was great as you eat off all the street stalls except one visit to small restaurant. The tour is only in Chinatown so not as much Thai as I would have liked. 15 street food vendors are visited as well as a fresh food and spice market. The food was tasty and safe for travellers. All food allergies are catered for. It is a walking tour but not far and not difficult.
