Full description
Spend a day discovering some of the best markets and temples that Bangkok has to offer. Enjoy a combination of local culture, sightseeing, and food tastings. First, visit the Maeklong Railway Market. Called "Talat Rom Hup" which roughly means "umbrella pulldown market", watch the vendors scramble to pack up their stalls when a train goes by along the track that runs through the market. Explore and hopefully see the train pass before making way to the next stop, the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Discover one of the more famous floating markets in the city, which is made up of a network of narrow canals dotted with vendors paddling their boats filled with their wares. From local produce to souvenir items, take in the organized chaos on the river before stopping for lunch in a local restaurant, at your own expense. After indulging in a variety of tasty Thai foods, set off to visit Wat Phra Kaew, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which is one of the country’s most sacred temples. Take in the tranquil and spiritual environment before making your way to the Grand Palace. Marvel at the exquisite architecture and numerous images here, once home to the Thai royal family up until the early 1900s.

What a fab day. Our tour guide Nuch was just amazing. She knew all the best places to go, all the best food to eat and all the best places to shop! She really made our day as she was a funny lady. The floating markets are ruined by motor boats - but when we were away from them in our paddle boat it was tranquil. The grand palace is simply stunning.

Coco was a brilliant guide, she answered all our questions and explained many things when on the way to the different places we visited. She is a very kind and smiley person, always trying to be accommodating and super reasonable too in terms of timing in various sights. She took loads of photos of us and we enjoyed learning all about Bangkok and the Thai culture. I would highly recommend her and the tour to railway and floating markets and the Grand Palace. Coco showed us how to get to Wat Pho and Wat Arun from there too. Not enough stars to give her here, she deserves 100!!!! thank you Coco, Emma and Giannis

A stunning day out. Go hungry and take plenty of cash...the markets in the morning are super and good prices if you barter!! Street food buys all morning long...the Grand Palace and Wat Pho are just incredible! Exhausting...long....but a day out you won't forget sampling Bangkok's finest offerings...
